Joint Device Detection, Channel Estimation, and Data Decoding With Collision Resolution for MIMO Massive Unsourced Random Access

In this paper, we investigate a joint device activity detection (DAD), channel estimation (CE), and data decoding (DD) algorithm for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) massive unsourced random access (URA). Different from the state-of-the-art slotted transmission scheme, in proposed framework is split into only two parts. A portion of coded by compressed sensing (CS) rest low-density-parity-check (LDPC) coded. addition to being part data, information bits CS phase also undertake task interleaving pattern design CE. The principle interleave-division multiple (IDMA) exploited reduce interference among devices LDPC phase. Based on belief propagation (BP) algorithm, low-complexity iterative message passing (MP) utilized decode embedded these phases separately. Moreover, combined with successive cancellation (SIC), DAD-CE-DD performed further improve performance utilizing each other. Additionally, based energy (ED) sliding window protocol (SWP), develop collision resolution handle codeword collision, common issue URA system. complexity reduction, exhibits substantial enhancement compared terms efficiency accuracy.
